Photos
If you would like your photos from a caving trip to appear on this website, then you will need to create an account with flickr and follow the steps below;
- Upload the photos to your flickr account.
- Give the photos the same unique tag, e.g. mendips18/9.
- Join the Aberystwyth Caving Club group on flickr and add the photos to the group pool.
Once the photos are added to the group pool, the webmaster will then be able to create a link so that the photos appear on this website.
The website also uses Picasa Web Albums. For more details on how to use this instead, get in touch with the webmaster.
Oh Henry!
If you can’t view the Oh Henry! journal online, you either haven’t logged into the website, or paid the £1 subscription. To access the page, pay Oli (editor) or Carly (treasurer). If you have paid then contact the webmaster.
Email subscription
To receive an email when new posts are made on this website, you will first need to register. From the ‘dashboard’, there will be a ’subscriptions’ menu where you can select which categories you receive emails from.
For those who registered with Aber Uni addresses, then you will need to whitelist the email ‘jmar71n@gamma.freecp.net’ in your P.A.U. Mail Settings as the uni spam filters block these messages by default.
Avatar
To create an avatar that appears on this website when you leave comments, you will need to upload an image in your ‘profile’ section in the dashboard. The image will need to be fairly small, so use a program like paint or preview to crop and resize.
