It’s AGM time!

Location: Tan y Bwlch beach
Time: Saturday 22nd, from 7pm
Bring: Alcohol, Food, Sleeping bags.

The club tent will be there so feel free to sleep on the beach. Also, there will be a BBQ so bring any food you want cooking. If you don’t know where it will be, zoom and scroll round the map below to find your way to the green arrow – there is a free car park at the northern end of the beach if needed.

Attention all Drunken Cavers

Becca is organising the last Club Dinner of the year and needs the following information from you:

1) Who wants to go and when people are free…choose between 4/6/11/14th May,
2) Which fancy dress theme for the night. Choice between ‘Gays and Trolls’, Pirates, Circus or Beach.

Please email her your options asap so a booking can be made.

***UPDATE*** Meal will be 7.30, Tuesday 4th May at the Agra. Theme is pirates.

Christmas Meal!

The Christmas meal is going to be on Thursday 10th of December at the Belle Vue Royal Hotel, 8pm. The menu is £13 for two courses or £17 for all three.

If you want to go we need your deposit of £10 by midday Tuesday. Give the money to Alex or Tim. Alex will be free to come collect money from you any time over the next 3 days. You also need to give him your meal choices at the same time. You can get in contact with Alex by text or email about your choices and how to pass the money on.

Descent II

The Arts Centre are holding a horror festival, during which they are showing the film The Descent: Part 2. Since the film is vaguely caving related, we plan to go watch it next Wednesday before the social. You will need to get tickets from the Arts Centre beforehand in case they sell out. It costs a fiver, and includes a Q&A session with the director afterwards. Starts at 7:15.

Hello Everybody

Its that time of year again, and socials are ready to restart in force. If you’ve just joined the club, then welcome!

The big reminder, socials start tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9pm in the Fountain Inn, our usual haunt. If you don’t know where it is then current members will be stationed at the porters lodge at the entrance to campus at 20:30 and at Wetherspoons at 20:45. Failing that, if you’re still confused then feel free to ring me on 07814 660 561.

We’ve organised some day trips this weekend to south Wales, full details will be available at the social. First choice will go to those who come to the social.
