A small group will meet freshers at the porters lodge reception at around 8 this tuesday and next, and another group in front of spoons at around 8.30. Come along for a pint or two and meet us! May 19th, 2011
Hopefully you get the idea, but if you want to run for a position on the committee give me an email or a text so we can see who is running for what. At the AGM, people running for positions can have a little speech and give us a quick insight into why they want to be president, treasurer etc. We do all the voting on the night, so as long as you turn up to the AGM you can run for a position.
***PLAN B*** Its going to rain pretty heavy tommorrow night so camping on the beach would be pretty shit and everyone would get wet pretty quick. Lucky for us we have the amazingly generous Henry who has donated his flat for the AGM. His address is 64 North Parade and his name is written on the doorbell. Henry’s flat is really easy to find as its on the main road at the bottom of the hill into town form uni. If your coming from uni then head into town and it is just past little spar, and over the road on the right. As there wont be a fire (unless we burn henrys things but he might get angry…), i suggest that everyone eats before coming as there wont b space to cook food. If we get there for about 8ish then it give people who had exams even more time to relax and eat and stuff The only thing you need is plenty of alcohol and if anyone wants to donate some crisps or something to nibble on while AGMing it would be much appreciated. bIf anyone has the will power after the agm then we might go to the pub so bring some money just in case Good Luck with the elections guys! Let me know of you can come as i need to give firm numbers to them soon. Theme will be flamboyancy, therefore more or less anything ridiculous you have or can find.
